We're excited to announce the BlackRock Foundation's support for Canton Electrical JATC through the BlackRock Future Builders™ initiative, which is helping expand access to skilled trades careers across the United States. The initiative supports organizations that are strengthening pathways into high-demand careers and helping more people connect to economic opportunity.We're proud to be part of this inaugural national BlackRock Future Builders cohort.This support will help us launch Stark County's first high-school electrical pre-apprenticeship program, working with all 17 county school districts. Students will gain real skills and credentials, with a path into registered apprenticeships where they earn wages from day one.Thank you to Mayor Sherer, Mayor Slutz, Commissioner Regula, Senator Jane Timken, and our partners at IBEW Local 540 and NECA for joining us.
